Catalogue of an exhibition held at 546-564 Collins Street, Melbourne, 9 July - 1 August 1993.
Presented by Raw Material. "An initiative of 200 Gertrude Street." ; "Work ... this strange duty that fills the allotted eight daily hours ... the psychic glue of identity and ambition ... the means for consumption, for definition ... this known route to adulthood, retirement and death. Marie Sierra-Hughes' exhibition 'Do that job" sets up a metaphorical dialogue between the workers of the past and those passing by today, about what constitutes work. The building at 546-564 Collins Street, the site of the exhibition, was erected in 1935 as offices and showrooms for the McPhersons' hardware empire ..."
