Description
Sanskritised classical Bengali. Details of the clergymans' debates at village level with petty Muslim clerics and peasants. He quotes the Qur'an that Jesus cured the sick and raised the dead. And he is better than Muhammad because he is still living. The Qur'an does not claim that Muhammad performed any miracles. He died. Thus Muslims have to accept the role for Jesus set out in the scriptures of the Christians. The lack of Arabic and Persian words indicates that the author had not lived much with Bengali Muslims.
