Description

Message on card reads "France 1/7/16 Dear Winnie, Have not had a mail for a long time the boys are becoming restless about it, we are inclined to thnk it has been sunk. I expect to hear from Clyde soon as he should be near England now; he will have a bonza time he is lucky getting into that division. All leave for England has been stopped so my chances of getting across there is very minute. Been a lot of bombardments here of late we are ...up the Germans. I suppose it is in the papers out there. News is extra scarce just now, will try and write a letter some day. Yours Stanley"
